WINESHOP TASTINGS

Nk'Mip Cellars is the first Aboriginal owned and operated winery in North America. Explore our heritage and our commitment to making quality VQA wines by enjoying a selection of complimentary wines from our Winemaker's Series or indulge by tasting some of our premium Qwam Qwmt (which translates to "achieving excellence") wines for a nominal fee.

Our distinctive wineshop is open for your enjoyment daily. Take your time and browse our unique selection of local Aboriginal artisan merchandise and wine and food related products.

WINERY TOURS

Take an inside look and learn how our wines are made from vine to glass during our unique winery tour. You will be guided by experienced winery staff who will tell you about the Osoyoos Indian Band and all their successes, reveal some of the secrets of winemaking as you stroll through our state of the art White and Red Fermentation Rooms and get a peek into our barrel cellars. For the tour finale you will get to taste some of those award winning wines and learn about the nuances of wine tasting.

Please note: There are stairs to be climbed and some of the tour is outdoors.

ESSENCE OF NK'MIP

Savour the essence of Nk’Mip Cellars during this in-depth tour of our vineyard, fermentation rooms and cellars while you learn about winemaking, Vintner’s Quality Alliance (VQA) and the Okanagan Valley as a grape-growing region. Your tour will be followed by a tasting of a flight of Nk'Mip wines in Riedel specific stemware. Your knowledgeable wine educator will demonstrate proper tasting techniques, explain how stemware can affect the taste of wines and offer technical wine information. A complimentary tasting package and tasting plate are included.
