The Nk’Mip Cellars were designed by Robert MacKenzie, a Penticton-based architect with a passion for celebrating the Okanagan character and advancing sustainable practices. The Cellars are as much about the people who visit and tour it as the building itself, offering a memorable and pleasurable experience that provides a powerful insight into our way of life. Nestled in our vineyard overlooking the town of Osoyoos, the Cellars include a world-class restaurant offering a locally sourced and lavishly prepared menu enjoyed on our expansive patio and enhanced by spectacular views of the lake and surrounding hills.

BLIND CHEESE & WINE EXPERIENCE

Test your abilities with this blind cheese & wine tasting experience of four Nk’Mip Cellars wines paired with some amazing BC cheeses hosted in our Grotto overlooking our Red barrel Room.

Join us for a unique 30-minute seated tasting, celebrating the legend of the Three Sisters—Corn, Bean, and Squash—which symbolize harmony, support, and nourishment. Experience the art of food and wine pairing with 3 of Nk’Mip Cellars’ award-winning wines, each thoughtfully paired with a canapé representing one of the Three Sisters.
This vegetarian experience highlights the connection between Indigenous tradition, food, and wine. Please note: Due to the nature of this pairing, dietary requests cannot be accommodated.
At Nk’Mip Cellars, North America’s first indigenous winery, we are proud to introduce Sweetgrass, our new winery restaurant that celebrates the rich heritage and traditions of our people.
Sweetgrass, a sacred plant in indigenous culture, symbolizes healing, peace, and spirituality. Our restaurant embodies these values, offering a dining experience that honors our ancestral roots while featuring a diverse menu inspired by both indigenous and contemporary cuisine.

We are pleased to serve lunch on the Sweetgrass patio daily Spring, Summer and Fall and in our indoor Knowledge Keepers Lounge in the Winter.
